I digitized Cleo, the lady in this digital painting. Added paint textures and what not. The background is an Asian Klimt reproduction all cut up. This one is solely mine with the exception of cutting up Klimt background which is actually an Asian replica. Therefore, I believe this piece of mine is Klimt inspired. I wanted to give her a 3D effect.

I enjoy writing posts like this. Much more than politics nowadays.

I believe that Cleo De Merode was the most fascinating ‘star’ of the Belle Epoque era (Art Nouveau) because she was targeted by the media. They relentlessly pursued Cleo, accusing the young, barely 20 year old lady of having an affair with the 67 year old King of Belgium (He was fascinated by her beauty).
