Bill Barr resigned as Attorney General on Monday. It really shouldn’t have come as a surprise for anyone. Barr had been under fire from Trump on a couple of occasions. First, he said that he and his Department of Justice had not seen enough evidence that there was enough voter fraud to overturn the election. That got under Donald Trump’s craw because he is sure the only way he could possibly lose the presidency to Joe Biden was because of fraud. His ego wouldn’t let anything else happen.
Second, when Barr knew from 2018 that Hunter Biden was indeed under investigation by the Department of Justice for his role with Ukraine and China, and didn’t come forward and let that become public prior to the 2020 election, that upset Trump to no end. Of course, in that case, Trump, once again, was wrong.
