The last time the U.S. military won a decisive victor was during WW II when U.S. and Allied forces took on the Germans and the Japanese.
Problematically, our wars are ordered by ignorant politicians in Washington D.C.
Nether side won in Korea, thus the divide at the 38th Parallel.
Politicians want us to win wars but at the same time act as a division of “Meals on Wheels,” telling the other side, ‘We came to kill you but now we will help build up the area we destroyed.’
This type dubious nonsense leads to negotiated “Peace with Honor,” nonsense and it is still happening today.
Remember, politicians were talking for over 4 years about ending the Vietnam War.
Where we went wrong was by not blowing North Vietnam off the map completely.
