FOR those of us who dabbled in Classical Studies in college (just for the fun of it), certain Latin phrases often shot to the forefront of this and that free-flowing, round-table classroom discussion — yes, free-thinking, alongside critical-thinking, was more than encouraged. Admired. That was then, this is now.
AS such, upon examining the latest Orwellian, nightmarish scenario (out of a continuous stream….) highlighted within, one Latin phrase immediately pops to mind: “cura te ipsum“, cure yourself!
INDEED, its English counterpart, “physician, heal thyself“, couldn’t be more on target. Bulls-eye.
BUT before the underlying sickness and rot is exposed even further— via an increasing cadre of smug, self-important, holier than thou radicals —more specifically, among medical and teaching professionals, the following offers an odious foretaste of the depths of their depravity:
