I’ve been fortunate enough to play with the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Camp in Vero Beach Florida twice.
Tom Hadan who was the Assembly man from the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia was on my team both years.
He was an amazing ball player and let it be known upon meeting all of us, that he would talk with any of us on any topic except politics and his wife Jane, he wanted a break just like we did.
They guys politics were repugnant to virtually all those in attendance, but he came to play ball and so didwe.
Both years he invited me to go out to dinner with him and his wife, we had a great time Jane was charming as could be.
I had a good time, not forgetting for a moment she was an Oscar Award winning actress…
