No? Well, it’s not a surprise. Most movie houses are having a really hard time in this pandemic-laden environment we are in. In fact, in a recent poll taken by Gallup, 31% of you saw between one and four movies at a theater last year. Only 9% of you saw more than that.
And you, like Joe Biden, can blame COVID for the downturn.
Hollywood has always had this love/hate relationship with the American people. A lot of it has had to do with creativity on the writers, directors, and actors’ parts. But this past year, it was putting a bunch of people in a very enclosed space for up to 2 1/2 hours and paying money to watch stuff on the screen that frankly, just wasn’t that good.
