Because he does not think certain truths are debatable, John Branyan blog posts tend to be quite biting. That is, because some people think that we can each have our own truths or that lies are harmless when they make some people feel good about themselves, John’s statement of facts as plain, indisputable facts upsets some people. However, when the people John upsets want to teach their children lies, don’t you think those children’s parents ought to be outraged?
Do you think it would be a good idea to teach children that smoking cigars is good for them? Starting when they’re in Kindergarten, we tell kids that tobacco is full of vitamins and the best way to get those vitamins is to roll the leaves into tight cylinders, light them, and inhale the smoke.
Cartoon characters would sing songs about smoking cigars. Schools would offer tobacco rolling classes. Advocacy groups…
