CNN’s Dana Bash is trying to make the number of dangerous criminals pouring over the southern U.S. border sound far lower than it really is.

Bash said while interviewing Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake on Sunday, claiming to cite Department of Homeland Security figures.

“I’m going to have to disagree with you on that figure you just put out,” Lake countered. “We don’t know what their background is. There’s a reason they’re trying to get in unnoticed; it’s because they have a criminal background.”

“We know that [DHS has] tracked down terrorists, they have tracked down people wanted for murder,” Lake continued. “We’ve got people with rape records, you name it, we’ve got hardened criminals.”

Bash doubled down.

“Not All Nazis Were Bad”

H/T Citizen

In Saner Thought

This is for the ‘Can’t Fix Stupid’ files…..

Not my words but those of an Indiana politician……

There are multiple candidates running for seats on the Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees in Indiana, including Dr. Matt Keefer, an anesthesiologist who calls himself an independent option disliked by both “Republican leaders” and the “extreme left” due to his critical thinking and inability to “be controlled.” Pushback against him has reached new levels, however, after he recently defended some of the Nazis during World War II in comments under an online post, reports FOX59. The controversy started when Keefer, who runs on an anti- “wokeness” and “indoctrination” platform, was asked in a since-deleted Facebook thread if teachers asserting that the Tulsa Massacre was terrible, or that all Nazis were bad, would be considered “indoctrination,” in his eyes. Keefer’s response is what instantly raised eyebrows.

“All Nazis weren’t ‘bad,’ as you…

OF TWISTED WORDS => WOMAN

Citizen Tom

Words mean something. In order for us to communicate with words, each word must represent a clear idea. That is, when we hear a word, we must call to our mind the abstract concept that we associate with that word. Unfortunately, when we make war with God and each other, we deliberately confuse the meaning of words. To justify our sins, we must use faulty logic, and that includes twisting the meaning of words. That is why I have this series that starts here, OF TWISTED WORDS =>FEMINISM. It is important that we understand how we are destroying our own language.

Consider that we recently had a nominee to the Supreme Court who was asked to define the word “woman,” Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Amazingly, she refused, Judge Jackson declines to define ‘woman,’ says she’s ‘not a biologist’.

Because even a child…

IF YOU BELIEVE IN SECURE BORDERS…..

Citizen Tom

What is the video above? This is the second debate between Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) and Republican J.D. Vance. See Five takeaways from final Ohio Senate debate between JD Vance and Tim Ryan.

What did I think the candidates were trying to do?

  • Ryan wants to paint Vance as a dangerous white supremacist MAGA extremist.
  • Vance wanted voters to understand that Ryan would be another vote for the Liberal Democrat left led by Schumer and Pelosi.

How do I hope voters will see this debate? I hope that voters will see Ryan’s effort gaslight us. I hope that voters will finally see through the most glaring example. I hope that voters will see through Ryan’s effort to portray Vance’s advocacy for a strong border as racist. I hope that what Ryan is doing will anger voters. I hope that righteously angry voters will come to the polls…

Biden Climate Change Policy A ‘House Of Cards’

PA Pundits International

By Peter Murphy~

“It’s getting late early,” said that great 20th century philosopher, Yogi Berra.

For President Joseph Biden, this nugget from the New York Yankees Hall of Fame catcher sticks like butterscotch as his policy blunders pile up and Americans increasingly feel their baleful effects. They include the bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan, menacing inflation, the human tidal wave over the open southern border, the new coronavirus outbreak, and his war on American energy.

These are a few of many examples that suggest his presidency may soon implode, before his first year concludes. By contrast, it took Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon until their third and fifth years, respectively, for their presidencies to collapse beyond recovery.

President Biden’s war on American-produced energy is galling and—dare I say—un-American. This is because of two recent administration actions that contradict his purported climate policy and confirm the blizzard of…

The Real “Existential Threat” To People And Planet

PA Pundits International

From the team at CFACT ~

By Don Ritter ~

It’s ironic. The very Biden Administration and European Government policies that are supposed to address the asserted “existential threat” of climate change are themselves the true existential threat to modern civilization.

As someone trained in science and engineering, a lifelong hiker, gardener and lover of nature in the extreme, I want a healthy, sustainable planet as much as anyone promoting the climate change agenda.  It’s not that “green” energy is bad. It’s that the rate of “going green,” and the enormous investments required, are wildly disproportionate to society’s energy needs, now and for the foreseeable future.

Elon Musk gets it, but most government leadership do not – or choose to remain silent. “Realistically, civilization will crumble if we don’t continue to use oil and gas in the short run,” Musk has said.

Civilization crumbling is clearly an “existential threat.” And…

Climate COVID? The Guardian Insists ‘Next Pandemic’ May Come From … ‘Melting Glaciers’

PA Pundits International

By Joseph Vazquez ~

It’s happened. The eco-crazies in the liberal media are trying to mesh climate change and the pandemic into one big fear porn monstrosity.

The Guardian released a nutty story Oct. 18 propagandizing how “[t]he next pandemic may come not from bats or birds but from matter in melting ice, according to new data.”

The liberal outlet tried to frighten readers into believing in the imaginary specter of climate COVID: “The findings imply that as global temperatures rise owing to climate change, it becomes more likely that viruses and bacteria locked up in glaciers and permafrost could reawaken and infect local wildlife, particularly as their range also shifts closer to the poles.”

The headline for the article didn’t beat around the bush: “Next pandemic may come from melting glaciers, new data shows.”

The Guardian, however, conceded a glaring contradiction that upended its fear-mongering, which it conveniently…

Newsom Dodges The Tough Energy Questions

PA Pundits International

By Ronald Stein ~

With California electricity and fuel costs among the highest in the country, Newsom is doing everything possible to further increase both energy costs to residents, and transfer (or “leak”) emissions generation to developing countries. His actions are unabated as he avoids conversations to justify his bizarre energy policies.

  • Newsom continues to reduce oil production in California.

California, the fifth largest economy in the world is the ONLY state in contiguous America that imports oil to meet the demands of the state. That dependency has risen from 5% in 1995 to more than 58% today and Newsom continues to decrease in-state production that would further increase our dependency, on unstable foreign governments.

At today’s price of crude oil around $90 per barrel, the imported crude oil costs California more than $150 million dollars a day, yes, every day, being paid to oil-rich foreign countries, depriving Californians of…

NY Times Lefty Identity Crisis: Subscribers Expect ‘Mother Jones On Steroids’

PA Pundits International

By Clay Waters ~

Ben Smith, former media columnist for the New York Times who recently launched the media site Semafor, plunged himself into his old paper’s current identity crisis, both in the eyes of Wall Street and its ultra-liberal readership.

After laying out what the crisis means to its share price, Smith focused on the mortifying story of James Bennet, former editorial page editor and “onetime heir apparent to run the Times,” who riled up the paper’s internal left-wing mob and was summarily fired for the audacity of running an op-ed by Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton (R) that called for military intervention to stop rioting and looting in the wake of protests about the police killing of George Floyd. (Check out the cringe-worthy editor’s note attached to the top of Cotton’s op-ed, that Bennet now says he was compelled to sign.)

Two high-profile moments from that period continue to define…
