The day after Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett formed their government, Biden administration officials threw a diplomatic grenade at them. Last Monday, administration officials told reporters “unofficially” that U.S. President Joe Biden intends to appoint Hady Am (long time supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas), his Assistant Secretary of State for Israel and the Palestinians, to serve as U.S. Consul General to the Palestinians—in Jerusalem.

CAROLINE GLICK (h/t Frederic F) To deploy Amr to Israel’s capital as consul, the administration will first need to open a consulate in Jerusalem. In accordance with the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1996, the Trump administration closed the consulate and turned the building into the Ambassador’s Residence following the transfer of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem in 2019. And under the Vienna Convention, the United States must ask Israel to permit the opening of the consulate and accredit the head of mission.
The administration’s decision to deploy Amr to Jerusalem as ambassador-in-everything-but-name to a hostile, non-Israeli entity is a double assault on Israel. First, it sends the clear message that the Biden administration supports the division of Israel’s capital. Second, by sending Amr specifically to Jerusalem, the administration is making clear that it intends to legitimize and work with Hamas.
Before joining the administration, Amr was a fellow at the Qatar-funded Brookings Institution. He was the founding director of the Brookings Institution in Doha. And from Brookings, Amr wrote and spoke in favor of legitimizing the Iranian-sponsored Muslim Brotherhood terror group. Amr advocated that the United States work to integrate Hamas into the PLO.
The administration’s now all-but-declared positions on Jerusalem and Hamas in turn strengthen Iran’s position in Palestinian society. They also legitimize the until-now unthinkable scenario in which the United States supports a Hamas takeover of Judea and Samaria. The administration’s deep-seated animosity toward Israeli sovereignty over unified Jerusalem makes clear as well just how hostile its positions are in relation to Israel’s strategic requirements and national rights to Judea and Samaria.
Although Palestinian Authority chairman and Fatah and PLO leader Mahmoud Abbas initiated the latest round of war last month, he did not benefit politically or militarily from the onslaught against Israel. Hamas did.
An opinion poll published last Tuesday by the Ramallah-based Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research found that 77 percent of Palestinians believe Hamas won the latest round of war. If elections were held today, Abbas would be wiped out, receiving a mere 27 percent of the vote, while Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh would win the leadership with 59 percent of the vote. The only Fatah leader more popular that Haniyeh is convicted mass murderer Marwan Barghouti, the architect of the 2000-2004 Palestinian terror war. Barghouti is in prison, serving multiple consecutive life sentences for his direct command of murderous Fatah terror cells. Bare Naked Islam readmore

Officials Warn ‘No Choice’: Israel Preparing to Strike Iran Nukes Plans After Brutal Mass-Murderer ‘Wins’ Election

What will it take for the Biden Administration to walk away from the negotiating table with Iran in Vienna? The Republican Party must expose the Biden Administration’s appeasement of Iran to the American people. They are right now negotiating a nuke deal (that includes the elimination of sanctions) with a regime that just appointed a mass murderer as president. Naturally, there is no condemnation from the American Left for this outrage.

Israel will NEVER allow this regime to have the ability to manufacture nuclear weapons. No matter what the Biden Administration signs. You can take that to the bank.

The Strategic Consequences of Bennett’s Megalomania – THE ROT WITHIN ISRAEL’S NON-REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT – Adina Kutnicki

{UPDATE: MK Chikli: Yamina handed the Crime Minister movement its victoryInexorably, Naftali Bennett, as head of YAMINA, the soon-to-be PM, will be recorded in Jewish history as the one who placed personal ambition above the will of the majority Zionist public and the safety of the Jewish homeland, alike! The concessions and gifts given to UAL’s Islamist Party, that is, the arm of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Mafia in Israel, is the biggest governmental treachery, since the rebirth of Zion!}

SANS a scintilla of a doubt, the underlying basis of Israel’s electoral system is beyond a nightmare. An unholy quagmire. Rotten to the core. Simply put, it is designed to fail. No ifs, ands, or buts. So much so, the system is the most fractured and convoluted mish-mash in the so-called democratic world. An absolute embarrassment. Truth dare be told, it is akin to those found within third-world countries.

EVEN so, before we segue to the whys and wherefores, know this: this Israeli voter has no love lost for PM Netanyahu; a serial accommodator and an appeaser, that is, when a tough spine matters most and a war must be fought to victory. Inextricably, prima facie evidence of the same.

STILL yet, the aforementioned nightmarish system led to this writer’s mainstream interview (prior to the run-up of another fractious election, Nov. 28, 2017), namely, “Can Israel Survive as a Jewish State?”

AS per the whys and wherefores, they can be found within this writer’s analysis (in 2012) at American Thinker, “The Paradox of Israeli Politics” — that which renders a devastating indictment of Israel’s political system, but, at the same time, offers solutions!

NEVERTHELESS, from 2003-2005, Netanyahu was a stellar Finance Minister. In fact, as a graduate of the world famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology, aka MIT, he has proven to be a free market, economics guru. The best there is. Equally so, he would (more than) hold his own as Foreign Minister, if at the helm of said Ministry. He is an unparalleled orator; an unbeatable presence on the world stage.

INCONTESTABLY, if not for the incontrovertible dysfunction of the electoral system — again, an unwieldy disaster to the nth degree — a so-called right-wing led by Netanyahu’s rivals via MK’s Bennett and Shaked would hardly consider locking arms (wait and see) with the likes of the most radical left, bar none, in tandem with an Islamist Party whose members and constituents work 24/7 to destroy Israel as the Jewish state via a Hitlerite base! Domestic terrorists at large, as witnessed within.

INDEED, Bennett and Shaked are “victims” of what has become Israel’s Achilles Heel; a completely broken electoral process.

AS such, in a desperate quest to sit atop the helm —  yes, as they attempt to oust a flawed PM — and become putative king-makers, they expect to “do deals” with a patchwork of dangerous “partners!” Heaven help us.

MOST significantly, it dare not be underestimated: Bennett and Shaked’s  flank of rabid, radical leftists, alongside Islamist Jew-haters, if installed, will be the moment in time that the Jewish homeland tipped in favor of those seeking to destroy Israel!

IN others words, if “Bibi” — one of the shrewdest political operators on the world stage — couldn’t navigate the treacherous waters of Israel’s electoral system (to keep his coalition from falling), why in heaven’s name would any rational thinker and lover of Zion believe that Bennett and Shaked (tragically, drunk on their own power) will be able to hold the foxes ensconced inside their coalition at arm’s length and at bay, let alone not upend the Jewish homeland in the process??

ISRAEL NATIONAL NEWSBy Caroline Glick | May 31, 2021

The government about to be formed will be the weakest and most radical in Israeli history — a diplomatic and military catastrophe that will threaten Israeli democracy.

There is little point at this stage of the game in mentioning the depths of moral depravity and treachery into which Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked have descended. Now, as the two self-proclaimed “leaders” of the ideological right defect from the nationalist camp and form a leftist government supported by pro-Hamas Arab parties, the time has come to discuss the strategic and national consequences of their actions.

The place to begin the discussion is by noting that ministers that support the Biden administration’s Middle East policies will hold an absolute majority in the leftist government Bennett and Shaked are now intent on forming.

The Biden administration’s commitment to returning the United States to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran leads only in one direction. Biden’s Iran policy guarantees that Iran will achieve its goals of regional hegemony and membership in the nuclear club. Adina Kutnicki read more

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

Terrorists have only one thing to offer. It’s right there in the name.

The business model of terrorism is killing people and then demanding a payoff. The game always works the same way. The terrorists attack, their targets fight back, and a third party sends in the diplomats to negotiate on behalf of the terrorists before they get hit too hard.

The Islamic terrorist war against Israel has worked exactly this way for generations.

Like a radio pop song that plays every time you go into a supermarket, you know the next verse and can feel the next beat before it even kicks in no matter how much you hate the music.

It’s the same way with the regular mini wars that begin with a manufactured political provocation that can be blamed on Israel, (this time a court ruling evicting illegal Muslim colonists occupying homes that were seized during the ‘48 ethnic cleansing of Jews from Jerusalem), followed by terrorist violence with the usual pattern of attack and escalation.

Hamas and a few of its allies shell Israeli towns and cities using the latest Iranian technology and some of their own cruder models. Israel responds by calculatedly taking out terrorist compounds which Hamas has, with equal calculation, filled with civilian human shields.

Especially children.

Politicians, the media, and social media (three distinctions without a difference) rush to attack Israel, vastly inflating the already inflated casualty figures put out by the terrorists, lying about the nature of the conflict, and doing their best to mainstream antisemitism a little more.

The Biden administration makes a few public statements vaguely supporting Israel’s right to defend itself, an absurd point, and sends in mediators to negotiate the payoff for the terrorists.

Israel had a brief break from America acting as the paymaster and bagman for the terrorists.

It was a refreshing pause especially for all the children who didn’t get bombed, the homes that didn’t have rockets smash through their roofs, and the soldiers who didn’t get shot just so that State Department negotiators could tell Israel the current going rate for ending the attacks.

Islamic terrorists aren’t crazy or irrational. The average suicide bomber might be, but their leadership doesn’t do anything without a profit motive.

The profits for Islamic terrorism against Israel come in two ways.

First, the terrorists are backed by Iran, Qatar, Turkey, and the rest of the Islamist gang to carry out attacks on Israel. Second, the terrorists are rewarded by the United States, Europe, and Israel for ending the attacks.

This never leads to peace because if you keep rewarding terrorists for ending the violence, you’re also telling them that if they do it all over again, they’ll profit from the violence.

Paying the terrorists not to attack you is really the same thing as paying them to attack you.

But the essence of the peace game is obliviousness. That means believing that there are root causes that can resolve the underlying grievances. The root cause is the existence of Israel.

The terrorists want to destroy Israel: Israel doesn’t want to be destroyed.

And the negotiators came up with a compromise which satisfies no one: a two state solution that will only destroy a part of Israel. The solution, which has solved nothing and will solve nothing, incrementally destroys parts of Israel by handing them over to the terrorists.

The amount of Israel being destroyed through this process has kept on increasing ever since the original fake peace deal was celebrated by Bill Clinton, Yasser Arafat, and Yitzchak Rabin at the White House. Every exchange of fire leads to a push for a new peace “compromise” that will destroy even more of Israel by handing more territory over to the terrorists.

Since this process provides the terrorists with zero incentive to stop the violence, it failed.

The Trump administration overturned conventional wisdom by recognizing that the terrorists, who had repeatedly rejected and sabotaged peace negotiations for two generations, not the Israelis, who had shown up for every bad faith attempt at negotiations, were the problem.

Instead of taking away territory from Israel and giving it to the terrorists, President Trump began recognizing Israeli claims to parts of Israel, while cutting off money and political support from the terrorists. The terrorists didn’t turn pacifist, but they turned down the violence because they understood that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, unlike Kerry, wouldn’t be bailing them out.

They just waited, while Kerry privately assured the terrorists Trump would soon be gone.

The Biden administration is going back to the same old policies of propping up the terrorists. And the first thing you need to do when propping up the terrorists is giving them some leverage.

The leverage of terrorists is terrorism.

Rebooting the old negotiating process requires a war. And so the Biden administration turned on the money tap to the terrorists and their Iranian sponsors. It made it clear that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the anti-Iran coalition linked to the Abraham Accords were out of style in D.C.

Biden also appointed Hady Amr, a veteran of Qatar’s Brookings operation, a state backer of Hamas, as his “point man” on the “Israeli-Palestinian conflict” which had been low on conflict.

At least the conflict had been low until Biden got started. Jihad Watch read more

MUSLIMS have been destroying churches, synagogues, and temples, then turning them into mosques in countries they’ve invaded for some 1400 years

So, it’s only fair that Israelis turn abandoned mosques on their land into something more useful for them.

Ignore the narrative on this video from Turkish State Media. The land on which these mosques stood never belonged to the so-called Palestinians, they are all in Israeli territory, which was once called Palestine. But there has NEVER been a nation called Palestine and the only reason these Arabs are called Palestinians is because Yassir Arafat decided to call them that after their defeat by the Israelis in the 1967 Six Day War
