Public education. US style.
ONLY fools or knaves still refuse to recognize the handwriting on the wall, that is, relative to the Biden administration’s plans for the (mis)schooling of this generation and upcoming ones. Indeed, they are intentionally aiming towards dumbing them down. The key and core question is: to what end?
PLAINLY and simply, it involves a two-tier calculus. As per the first-tier, a dumbed-down citizenry is an infinitely more compliant and grateful populace. After all, who but a jack-ass will bite the hand that feeds (houses, clothes, etc.) them? Rhetorical.
AS such, with less resistance against a government which provides incentives for living on the dole — as opposed to success or failure through one’s own merits and individual responsibility — the stage is set for all kinds of governmental mischief. Control.
AND it is the first-tier which leads straight into the heart of the second-tier: Marxism! For in order to institute across-the-board Marxism, it is an absolute necessity to lower the expectations of upcoming generations, and, at the same time, pit groups against each other to keep the chaos alive. It is this out of control environment which ensures that a majority of citizens will beg for Federal intervention! Yes, the arsonists and the firemen are one and the same.
IN this regard, it is not accidental that a trifecta is brewing within America’s (mis)education system: the take-down of high-achievers; the insertion of race-bating/grievance-mongering via CRT, and the actual dumbing-down ala language and more …. what can go wrong …
ALL of which brings us to the latest treachery against the kiddies, the likes of which is the final nail in the coffin.
WHEN one enables the least capable candidates to enter the classrooms, well …. garbage in, garbage out ….

DAILY WIRE | By Crissy Clark | July 7, 2021
The Biden administration announced a plan to expand tuition breaks for future teachers and remove GPA requirements for grant recipients in hopes of providing access to “students of color.”
The Department of Education oversees the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) grant program, which provides tuition breaks for students obtaining degrees in education who commit to teaching in “high-need fields and underserved schools” for four years after graduation. The Biden administration, with the support of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, announced that the annual grant amount for third and fourth-year students will double to $8,000 per recipient.
Biden’s plan will also remove the existing GPA requirements for recipients in the hopes of increasing access for students of color. AmericasCivilWarRising.org read more
The following is a speech made by Virginia State Senator Chap Petersen. Like as not the Democratic Party of Virginia, especially their supporters in the teachers unions, will try to primary him as a result.
I first heard about Petersen’s speech today on WMAL’s Mornings on the Mall. I will link to the interview when they post it.
Even though Petersen is a Democrat, Conservative Senator Mark Obenshain tweeted it.
However, except for the WMAL broadcast, this, VA Sen. Chap Petersen (D?-Fairfax City) Argues It’s Not Worth Closing Schools For 9 Year Olds Because Of the Death Of a 99 Year Old | Blue Virginia, is the only thing I have found that corresponds to a media publication. Even Blue Virginia could not bring itself to actually post the video.
Sad! Much of our news media and Big Tech now exist to stifle debate.
Do you want to know why your children are not in school? Petersen does not explain, but the problem is right under our noses. We have given our government too much control of our money. When we spend money, we “vote”. We encourage the people who provide us goods and services to sell us what we want to buy.
When we give our government control of our money, special interests compete for that money. The teachers unions are a huge special interest group, and they donate lots money and volunteers to the campaigns of politicians, influence peddlers. The teachers unions have an obvious self interest in controlling the schools, and they gain power over the schools through the politicians they buy. Thus, teachers unions control the public schools, not the parents of the children attending the schools. Thus, teachers unions hold leash that controls the schools our children attend, not the children’s parents.
Because they don’t control the money, give it to the schools they want their children to attend, parents have no good way of holding the people and the institutions who teach their children accountable. The result is that the teachers unions control the instruction of children.
When we insist that strangers have such a great power over other people’s children, they will abuse it. Either they won’t bother to properly teach children, or they will teach them beliefs that the children’s parents abhor.
Are you a parent or grandparent? You have a choice. You can vote for school choice (especially education vouchers) and put parents back in charge of the education of their children, or you can continue to vote for government-run education.
If you continue to vote for government-run schools, you can continue to pretend you are in control of how other people educate their children. Meanwhile, however, the parents who can afford it, including our rich politicians, will just smile at your foolishness and send their children to private schools.
I’ve written before about the fact that there are many young conservatives and have written on what I think the average political views of a young conservative are. But, because so much of youth culture is left-leaning, it can be hard, at times, to remember that there are Gen Z Conservatives out there and to recognize what they are up against. Today’s article on how high school teachers are teaching leftist propaganda is by a young conservative, and should serve as a helpful reminder of the existence of teens for Trump.
Additionally, it should tie in well with past articles on why the left will fail to indoctrinate our youth, the state of free speech on college campuses, how leftist professors are ruining universities, and the problem of virtue signaling on college campuses. why Enjoy! -Gen Z Conservative
It is certainly not easy to be a Gen Z conservative because the majority of my generation is extremely left-leaning, mainly because high school teachers are teaching leftist propaganda. So left-leaning, in fact, that they could be considered insane by the standards of many previous generations. The main reason why it is difficult, at times, to be a Gen Z conservative is that most of my generation has no grasp of the facts and does not understand the truth about America.
For example, many members of my generation, Gen Z, believe that “hate speech” exists, that guns should be confiscated by the government, and that the government should have even more control over our lives than it currently does. Yet worse, many of them are so imbued with leftist propaganda that they stand against everything that America stands for; the toughest people to deal with are the radicals that not only hate America, but also hate the ideals it was built on. They believe those things because high school teachers are teaching leftist propaganda.
The fact is that everything in American life has become political. Everything. Even the curriculum in schools has become political as teachers have introduced lessons on BLM and “social justice” into the classroom. We are seeing this disturbing pattern everywhere, especially Europe, but the U.S. is by far the most affected by this transition toward unpatriotic lessons.
Personally, I have seen a lot of this in schools just within the first couple of weeks as a freshman at a high school; my teachers, rather than teaching the facts about the subjects we signed up to learn about, teach us leftist propaganda. High school teachers are teaching leftist propaganda and are poisoning the minds of America’s youth. Gen Z Conservative read more
